So how did I feel about the Tsunami? Long story short, the Tsunami just does not fit my body well at all. After reading several other reviews, it seems to be a common problem. The Tsunami is designed with a G-spot curve and texture all the way down the seven inch long shaft. Unless your G-spot is very deep, there’s no possible way to stimulate your G-spot and enjoy all of the textures the Tsunami has to offer. You have to decide whether you want texture and thrusting or G-spot stimulation. Most of the time I use the Tsunami, I go for the texture and thrusting. For me, the most intriguing texture is near the base, with the ripples close together. It makes sense to have them near the bottom, since a vagina has more nerve endings at the opening, but the Tsunami is too long for me to even enjoy these ripples. When I use the Tsunami as a thrusting dildo, at it’s deepest point, I’m left with the bottom ridge awkwardly poking the entrance to my vagina. Usually I have no qualms about bumps and ridges. In fact, I usually say “the more, the better.” But the Tsunami doesn’t have rounded ridges like my other textured dildos. The ridges are actually rather pointed, especially the larger one. This makes for quite an uncomfortable sensation when it’s resting at the entrance to my vagina. As a thrusting dildo, it didn’t quite please me. If the Tsunami was slightly shorter, it just might work a little bit better for me.
My G-spot is a finicky one so I’m not surprised that the Tsunami didn’t blow my G-spot away. The G-spot curve isn’t that intense and the silicone has some flex to it. It doesn’t provide the intense, constant pressure that my G-spot seems to favor. The curved end isn’t sharp enough to press up unless I angle the Tsunami. Angling it is hard on my hands and wrists and doesn’t provide a lot of room for thrusting it. The silicone also isn’t firm enough for me. So far, I’ve only been able to stimulate my G-spot with glass or hard plastic. C’est la vie.
Sadly, the Tsunami just does not work for me. I wanted to love it. It’s the first Tantus product that I haven’t fallen madly in love with. Every body is different and it’s obvious that the Tsunami won’t work for mine. I never realized it was such an anatomy dependent dildo. Oh well, you can’t win them all. It’s still a high quality product that I can feel comfortable recommending if you believe it will work with your anatomy. Tantus is still a fantastic company, they just didn’t hit it out of the park with this one.
Thank you Tantus for sending me the Tsunami in exchange for an honest review!
